Colson Update: UFC Promoter sues Stephen Colson, alleges stolen satellite signal
On June 12, 2009, Joe Hand Promotions, Inc. sued Stephen Colson and the Red Eye Grill for piracy of UFC #92, which was held on December 27, 2008. Here is the Complaint.
Joe Hand alleges in the Complaint that it was the exclusive promoter in Mississippi for the UFC event. It seems that an unauthorized showing of the event was held at the Red Eye Grill in Biloxi. The Complaint alleges that Stephen Colson is liable to Joe Hand as the owner of the Red Eye Grill. The Complaint seeks in excess of $150,000 in damages.
I think the people that are having problems with the homes from the money that is frozen needs to have their cases heard first. They are more important that this case.. Colson is digging himself deeper and deeper as the days go by.
